At around 12-15lbs fully grown, and about 12-15in shoulder height, Mini cockapoo puppies are a true medium- sized pup. A mini cockapoo may even fit on your lap (depending on the size of your lap of course!). Mini Cockapoo puppies are a medium energy hypoallergenic dog and love their daily walks & playtime, after which they are normally happy to snuggle up under you or play couch potato.

As a breeder, I chose Mini Cockapoos because they are one of the most prestigious and well-known poodle hybrids. Since the 1960’s mini cockapoos have been very popular due to being engineered in accord with natural doggy design (no squished faces, wonky legs, or short airways), so they have the best chance to be mechanically healthy. In addition, we do all we can to prevent genetic illness in our dogs by conducting full-panel genetic testing & health screenings, guaranteeing your mini cockapoo puppy won’t be the product of inbreeding.

Mini Cockapoo puppies are a non-to-minimal-shedding breed ideal for people with mild dog allergies that prefer to keep the dog groomed rather than clean up hair. Many people who react to “normal” dogs are fine around mini cockapoo puppies. However, if in doubt you should ask to be invited to our next Puppy Meet & Greet day and grab a few cuddles with our dogs to test it out yourself first, or look out for one at your local park or beach, or at a dog show. You could also ask your local Mini Cockapoo puppy Facebook community if there’s someone who lives nearby who you could buy a coffee for and a puppicino for their mini cockapoo puppy. 

They are intelligent, easily trained, and are full of both character and personality – truly bred to be the best companion anyone could ask for!

Though great watchdogs, they are not “yappy” like so many small breeds tend to be. Mini cockapoo puppies are a vocal breed, but not overwhelmingly vocal. They will speak their piece, then go back to regular scheduled programming. Whatever comes up that looks strange, that they haven’t been conditioned to see as part of “normal” when your mini cockapoo is a puppy, they will bark to sound the alarm – and most importantly, warn you! Typically, they then quickly quiet down. However, any dog of any breed that hasn’t been properly socialized as a pup, and/or doesn’t have enough exercise, stimulation and socialization in its life is likely to go nuts and bark too much – even at “normal” things.

Highly sociable, mini cockapoo puppies tend to get along with other animals, children and people very well if properly socialized as a pup. We go to extensive measures to ensure your puppy has optimal socialization by the time they are ready to go home with you.

Personality varies from individual to individual (which is why we test them!). Many mini cockapoo puppies are playful, cheeky, mischievous and energetic, and are a delight for any owner, whether a first-time pet owner or an experienced dog parent!
