Toy Aussiedoodle Puppies for Sale Houston TX

The Toy Aussiedoodle is a charming, intelligent doodle mix between a Toy Poodle and a Toy Australian Shepherd. Compact yet energetic, they’re known for their vibrant personality, easy trainability, and stunning coat patterns.

At DoodlePuppiesTX, we raise each Toy Aussiedoodle like family — with love, daily interaction, and structure — so they’re ready for yours.

ABOUT Toy Aussiedoodles

At around 10-20lbs fully grown, and about 8-10in shoulder height, toy aussiedoodles are a small medium- sized pup. They may even fit on your lap (depending on the size of your lap of course!). They are a medium-to-high energy and require loads on mental enrichment. Due to being half poodle, they are a hypoallergenic dog and love their daily walks, playtime, and challenging games – after which they are normally happy to snuggle up under you or play couch potato. Be warned – they love to attack with kisses!

Please don’t adopt one unless you are willing and able to walk, play, and provide mental stimulation for your pup every day.

As a breeder, I chose toy aussiedoodles because they combine two of the most prestigious, intelligent, and well-known breeds, the poodle and Australian shepherd. Poodles are known for their intelligence, classy demeanor, silliness and affection with its owner. Australian shepherds are known for their herding ability, agility and problem-solving skills. Breeding the two together has been a common practice since the 1990’s. Since then, aussiedoodles have been very popular due to being engineered to bring out the best traits in both parent breeds (intelligence, agility, affection, etc). They are also bred in accord with natural doggy design (no squished faces, wonky legs, or short airways), so they have the best chance to be mechanically healthy. In addition, we do all we can to prevent genetic illness in our dogs by never inbreeding.

Toy aussiedoodles are a non-to-minimal-shedding breed ideal for people with mild dog allergies that prefer to keep the dog groomed rather than clean up hair. Many people who react to “normal” dogs are fine around toy aussiedoodles. However, if in doubt you should ask to be invited to our next Puppy Meet & Greet day and grab a few cuddles with our dogs to test it out yourself first or look out for one at your local park or beach, or at a dog show. You could also ask your local aussiedoodle Facebook community if

there’s someone who lives nearby who you could buy a coffee for and a puppicino for their aussiedoodle

They are intelligent, easily trained, and are full of both character and personality – truly bred to be the best companion or service animal anyone could ask for!

Though great watchdogs, they are not “yappy” like so many small breeds tend to be. Toy aussiedoodles are a slightly vocal breed, but only when they need to be. They will let you know what they need, then go back to regular scheduled programming. Whatever comes up that looks strange, that they haven’t been conditioned to see as part of “normal” when they are puppies, they will bark to sound the alarm – and most importantly, warn you! Typically, they then quickly quiet down. However, any dog of any breed that hasn’t been properly socialized as a pup, and/or doesn’t have enough exercise, stimulation and socialization in its life is likely to go nuts and bark too much – even at “normal” things.

Highly sociable, toy aussiedoodles tend to get along with other animals, children and people very well if properly socialised as a pup. We go to extensive measures to ensure your puppy has optimal socialization by the time they are ready to go home with you.

Personality varies from individual to individual (which is why we test them!). Many toy aussiedoodles are playful, cheeky, mischievous and energetic, and are a delight for any owner, whether a first-time pet owner or an experienced dog parent!

How We Raise Our Toy Aussiedoodles

Each puppy is raised inside our home, surrounded by everyday sounds, children, love, and playtime. We start them on crate and potty training, gentle grooming routines, and temperament exposure.

You’ll notice the difference when your pup arrives — confident, social, and already well-adjusted.
